Raw image format
Dialogue box “Raw image format” allows you to manage a list of raw image formats or activate reading of raw images with one of the formats. The raw images should be uncompressed and saved row by row in the data stream. Details are below:
The read only edit box in the fist line left shows number of image formats in the list;
The edit box in the fist line right shows the current image format name. Modification of the image format name is possible;
Edit box “Width” - for displaying and modifying the digital image width;
Edit box “Height” - for displaying and modifying the digital image height;
Edit box “Offset” - for displaying and modifying the byte offset of the bitmap data from beginning of the file. If the bitmap is stored in the end of the image file, the offset value is set to “-1”.
Mirror: y-axis - checked for mirroring image with a vertical axis;
Mirror: x--axis - checked for mirroring image with a horizontal axis.
Gray bits: 8 - selected for 8-bit images;
Gray bits: 16 - selected for 16-bit images with Intel byte order ;
Gray bits: -16 - selected for 16-bit images with Motorola byte order;
Single frame - checked when each image contains only one frame;
Double frame - checked when each image contains two frames;
Video ftame - checked when the image is in a standard video format, i.e. it contains interlaced two frames;
Multi frame - checked when each image contains more than two frames;
Color BMP channels - Used determined color channels to read 24-bit BMP images; When selecting “All”, the three images in red, green and blue channels are loaded in recording 1, 2 and mask 1, respectively, whereas the mean image is loaded in mask 2.
Button “<” and “>” - for selecting a raw image format from the current list;
Modify - pressed to save changes of the current image format;
Delete - pressed to remove the current image format from the list;
Append - pressed to append the current image format to the list.
Activate - pushed down to activate reading of images using the current format.
Button “TIFF” - Used to input format of a selected TIFF image into “Raw image format” window.
