1. Image group file list
In order to process a group of PIV recordings, a file name list of PIV recordings in the group should be opened through menu choice “File \ Image group” in the Start window. The name of the list file must be ended with extension “.lis”. The structure of the file list is shown as follows:
There are two integers in the first line of the list file. The first integer is the number of the PIV recordings. The second integer defines the type of the recording group. From the second line are recording names with the complete paths. The type number of the recording group is defined as follows:
1. Double exposures
2. Pairs of single exposures (e.g. 0.bmp–1.bmp, 2.bmp–3.bmp, 4.bmp–5.bmp,...)
3. Consecutive single exposures format 1 (e.g. 0.bmp–1.bmp, 1.bmp–2.bmp, 2.bmp–3.bmp,...)
4. Consecutive single exposures format 2 (e.g. 0.bmp–1.bmp, 0.bmp–2.bmp, 0.bmp–3.bmp,...)
5. Stereo PIV recording group with single exposed image pairs. Each recording includes two pairs of single-exposed PIV images for the left and right camera, respectively (e.g. first stereo PIV recording in the list: 0.bmp and 1.bmp – image pair for left camera, 2.bmp and 3.bmp – image pair for right camera)
The image file list can be created manually with any txt-editor or automatically with functions in dialogue box “Creating file list”.
2. Vector map file list
In order to statistically analyze the evaluated vector maps of a group of PIV recordings, a file name list of vector maps should be created. The name of the list file must be ended with extension “.tsk”. The structure of the file list is shown as follows:
The integer in the first line is the number of the vector map files. From the second line on are vector map file names with path information. The vector map file list can be created manually with any txt-editor or automatically with a function in the “Statistical analysis” window.
